Sanford, Fla. (WTVR/CNN) – A Florida judge has granted bond to George Zimmerman Friday morning. George Zimmerman is to be released on $150,000 bond. Also, the judge said Zimmerman will be monitored by GPS and will not be released today. He is also to have no contact with Martin’s family, can have no firearms and will be under a curfew. Additionally, Zimmerman will need to check in every three days with officials. George Zimmerman apologized to the family of Trayvon Martin prior to testifying in his bond hearing Friday. “I’m sorry for the loss of your son … I did not know if he was armed.” Investigator Dale Gilbreath testified Authorities have no evidence showing who started the altercation that led to Trayvon Martin’s death, Friday at George Zimmerman’s bond hearing. George Zimmerman is a caring, non-violent man who organized a campaign on behalf of a homeless man who had been beaten and mentored an African-American boy for two years, his mother testified Friday during his bond hearing. “I know that he is very protective of people, very protective of homeless people and also of children,” Gladys Zimmerman testified by telephone. WE WANT YOU TO WEIGHT IN ON THIS MATTER. DO YOU THINK ZIMMERMAN SHOULD HAVE BEEN GRANTED BOOND TO BE RELEASED? WHAT ABOUT THE CONDITIONS OF HIS RELEASE, DO YOU THINK THAT HIS FATHER'S POSITION AS A JUDGE INFLUENCED THE JUDGE TO APRROVE THE BOND STIPULATIONS?

When I moved to Central Virginia (Chesterfield) in 1995, Richmond was leading the nation for murders per capital. We are barely into the spring and about two months away from the heat of the summer and Richmond and surrounding areas are on fire! We could be on our way to regaining the title "murder capitol of the nation". More African American men are killing and being killed. No place is off limits, places like VSU have experienced murders as recently as Tuesday of this week. Now two brothers have been killed over one of the most stupidest thing; dog waste!!!! RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - An argument over dog waste ended in two men being shot dead on Richmond's Southside, according to neighbors. Richmond Police identified the victims as brothers Ahkeem and Ahmad Phillips. Ahmad lived in the in the 700 block of Stockton Street in the Manchester neighborhood. Akeem was visiting from Virginia Beach when the shooting occurred around 10 p.m. Wednesday, according to police.Neighbors tell NBC12 the brothers took issue with another resident in the Tobacco Factory Apartment building who let his dog defecate in the hallway. The argument escalated and the dog owner shot the brothers in the head, according to sources.Ahkeem was pronounced dead at the scene. Ahmad was taken to VCU Medical Center and later died due to his injuries.

ACCORDING TO SEVERAL NEW SOURCES, THE SPECIAL PROSECUTOR WILL BRING CHARGES AGAINST GEORGE ZIMMERMAN!!!! The Washington Post is reporting George Zimmerman will be charged in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. However before we all get excited, it remains to be seen as to what charges Zimmerman will face. The charges could range from First Degree Murder to Manslaughter, the lesser charge. We have to wait and see what the special prosecutor in this case will charge Zimmerman with, based on the evidence that they had. Also we may have seen a preview of what is to come regarding Zimmerman's former attorney's laying the ground work to get him off, base on the face of whether Zimmerman is mentally capable of standing trial. Perhaps asking that Zimmerman be placed in a mental institution as to such time he is capable of standing trial. Finally, with the strange events over the last several days; Zimmerman could be on the run by now. a desperate man will do desperate things. Perhaps with the aide of his father, George Zimmerman knows how to manipulate the system. What are your thoughts, we would like to hear from you.

Trayvon Martin's death has brought about a media frenzy. There has been world wide coverage regarding his death, the rallies and protest. Now his death has polarized Republicans and Democrats, Blacks and Whites. We want to know if you are tired of hearing about Trayvon's death and if so why? Sanford, Florida (CNN) -- While the story behind Trayvon Martin's shooting death continues to grab headlines, interest in the case is sharply divided along partisan and racial lines, according to a new study by Pew Research Center.Far more Republicans (56%) than Democrats (25%) say there has been too much coverage of Martin's death, according to Pew, which surveyed a "nationally representative sample of 1,000 adults" last Thursday through Sunday about top new stories. In addition, 43% of whites said the story has garnered too much coverage, compared with just 16% of blacks, Pew said. Martin's death fractured not just public interest opinions; it also continues to divide supporters of the slain Florida teen and those of George Zimmerman, the man who admitted killing the 17-year-old but claims he did so in self-defense. Rallies nationwide have called for Zimmerman's arrest, decrying the Sanford Police Department's handling of the case. On Tuesday, Martin family attorney Jasmine Rand insisted again that a former prosecutor in the case, State Attorney Norm Wolfinger, met with the now sidelined Sanford police Chief Bill Lee the night of the killing and overruled a police detective urging that Zimmerman be arrested. Rand said the family's legal team has multiple, credible sources who say Wolfinger and Lee met that night. She declined to elaborate. FBI agents were in Sanford on Tuesday, continuing their interviews in a civil rights investigation. Martin family supporters say the situation is a clear-cut case of racial profiling leading to an unjust killing. On Monday, agents interviewed Martin's girlfriend, the 16-year-old girl who, phone records show, was on the line with him shortly before the fatal confrontation, Martin family attorney Daryl Parks confirmed Tuesday.
